As a Strategic Sales Planning Manager, you’ll provide matrix managed sales operations support to Sales Managers and leadership. You’ll bring your key subject matter expertise to a crucial role as the single face to the Sales leaders supported, serving as the escalation point for all Sales Operations support activities. You’ll have responsibility for directing the day-to-day operations of the aligned COE (Center of Excellence) staff, identifying resource requirements, negotiating sourcing from COE, assigning responsibilities, and providing performance feedback to leaders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Synthesizes all aspects of the business operations to make strategic recommendations to Sales leadership on to go market and potential coverage models. Develops strategies for improving effectiveness.
Designs and implements the Sales Business Plan for supported region. Analyzes trends and growth targets, providing detailed feedback to the CFO and Sales Peers.
Drives achievement of the Sales Plan by analyzing the performance of the sales channel and sales team.
Provides insight on the Sales Customer Base sales projects and client revenue that will drive the sales team to react faster and to be more proactive.
Design and provide reporting to the sales teams to ensure that they have the information needed to make informed decisions and facilitate continual process improvements.
Partners closely with Sales leadership to develop and design Comp plan recommendations, including being on point for Key Objectives design.
Manages highly complex work and provides strategic direction that is critical to the organization.
Works without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment. May lead less experienced peers.
Qualifications:
10 to 14 years of experience in Sales Operations
8+ years outside sales, direct sales, B2B sales or sales operations related experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing or related field is preferred
Our Strategic Sales Planning managers earn between $84,900- $169,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
