Post: PLANNING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER (Monitoring) Ref: PEO

We are looking for a Planning Enforcement Officer to manage a complex caseload of enforcement related matters and proactively monitor new developments to ensure the aims of Broxbourne Local Plan are realised. In this role you will investigate a range of cases, provide specific specialist planning advice to resolve breaches, conduct site visits and safeguard development ensuring it is in line with approved plans.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, be persuasive and have the ability to organise whilst under the guidance of the Principal Planning Compliance Officer. An interest in Planning, Design, Sustainability and Heritage will also be beneficial. A minimum of Grades A-C/4-9 in GCSE English Language and Maths is required and previous experience is desirable. A full driving license is also required. The Officer will be responsible for visiting development sites, tracking progress and ensuring that developments are built in accordance with approved plans and in adherence to any conditions imposed by the Council.
