Placement Student – UK Logistics Centre Business Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst Placement Student to join our team specializing in Continuous Improvement for our Logistics Centre in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Ensuring we have data integrity for all our analytics and reports. Development of Power BI reporting capabilities
• Use Common processes, tools and information systems to enable quantitative analysis and interpretation of data
• Use common diagnostic tools to identify areas for improvement and convert to improvement projects.
• Involvement and support in implementing and potentially leading projects that optimize operational efficiency
• Use of Lean, 5S and Six Sigma and enable continuous improvement activity
• Design, Creation and Maintenance of robust digital tools to be used by the team and internal stakeholders to increase efficiency and improve operator experience

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Working towards a degree in Business/Statistics related area
• Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint (Access and Visio beneficial)
• Ability to understand data, solve problems and think innovatively
• Good team player, able to manage workload effectively
