Plumbing / Mechanical Engineer (Multiskilled)
Permanent - Monday to Friday 8 - 4.30 (+ on call rota)
Cambridgeshire - CB24 - All work locations are within a 1 hour radius of office
£32,000 - £36,000 p.a (D.O.E) + Company Vehicle / Fuel Card / Annual Bonus

Our client is a Tier 2 medium sized Mechanical and Electrical service contractor.

They have a fantastic position for an experienced field service Multi skilled - Mechanical / Plumbing Engineer to join them, who will be respected, valued and will be part of a great working team
All works will be carried out within an hour of the office, located in CB24 - and you will need to live no further than an hour/25 miles from Cambridge
Responsibilities
Plumber/Mechanical engineer for the following type of works
- Carryout domestic and commercial pipe work repairs, alterations, and installation on Steel, Copper pipe, Uponor pipe , Waste pipework,
- Domestic and commercial pump replacement
- Expansion vessel checks and replacements
- Fault finding on commercial heating systems
- Installation of sanitary ware
- Maintain PPM Paperwork and to comply with all H&S policies and procedures
Requirements and skills
- Relevant Qualifications such as NVQ in Plumbing and Heating / Time served
- Ability to work Monday to Friday – regular daily hours 8am – 4.30pm
- Be willing to work overtime when needed to (opportunity of over time at the weekends at enhanced hourly rates)
- Full UK driving licence – no more than 6 points – due to being given a company ‘take home’ vehicle
- L8 Legionella experience - flushing and testing
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Commercial Background - pipe work repairs, alterations, and installation
