We are currently looking for an Multi Role Operative to join our friendly team based in Buxton.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Multi Role Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Work as part of a shift team operating in a fast-paced automated environment, your duties will be split up between the warehouse and production areas.
  • Involved within the heart of operations which consist of loading vehicles, operating three high-tech fast paced automated packing lines, operation of dryer system, carrying out risk assessments, fault finding, reporting, carrying out first level maintenance and inspections, and assisting the maintenance team with repairs.
  • Work as part of a team to meet the safety, production, and financial targets for the site. All activities are to be undertaken in accordance with Tarmac’s Safety Management Systems, as well as site systems, policies, and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Multi Role Operative you will have experience of:

  • FLT License or proof of training would be advantageous
  • Safety passport would be advantageous
  • Working with safety systems & procedures
  • Operating an automated production line would be advantageous
  • Working in a busy warehouse environment
  • Working within a team
  • Operating Linde H70 Fork trucks
  • Health and safety experience
