Join EUROAPI’s Contract Development Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) as a Pilot Plant Technician where you will perform an operator role in the process of manufacturing new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients from early clinical through to commercial phase.
Your Responsibilities
A Pilot Plant Technician, controls and monitors the Contract Development Manufacturing Operations plant/equipment that supports the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products following Standard Operating Procedures in respect of cGMP regulations and Safety, Quality & Hygiene guidelines.
You will:
- Manage the dispensing & charging of raw materials, monitoring, sampling and reporting production progress in line with quality procedures.
- Action basic equipment dismantling and equipment set up & cleaning.
- Accurately and contemporaneously review and maintain key batch record documentation.
- Promote a culture where the team take accountability for reducing manufacturing quality impacting risks, preventing accidents, avoiding health risks and reducing environmental impacts.
- Performs standard and more complex tasks in accordance with strict SOPs and product processes.
- Performs stock checks to and updates electronic systems and maintains controlled spreadsheet databases.
- Work with a variety of teams to build relationships , effectively communicating issues in a timely manner to more senior team members as appropriate.
This is a contract opportunity with great prospects for further opportunities, your initial contract will be until 31st December 23.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.
Our Requirements
Strong standard of written English and basic numeracy for the purpose of batch record entries and documentation reviews.
Demonstrable proficiency with the latest Microsoft Office products and related electronic tools for editing, documenting, tracking and communicating.
Experience gained in a cGMP manufacturing plant or clean room plant production area would be highly desirable.

- Monday - Friday - 41.25 hours per week, you will rotate across the early shift 1 week 6am-14.15pm and the late shift for the following week 13:45-10pm
