About this role:
We’re looking for a Piercer to join our Newcastle Fenwicks Concession. Piercing is one of our most popular experiences we offer in our stores, along with welding and tattooing. Helping our customers achieve the ear stack of their dreams, you will be an integral part of the exceptional experiences we offer at A&M. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help to support the retail team.
What you’ll be doing:
Customer Service
- Deliver an outstanding service and create a memorable customer journey
- Handle all customer queries effectively and efficiently, always providing guidance and reassurance
- Establish a personal connection with new and existing customers in order to build a loyal customer base
Health & Safety
- Responsible for handling and managing waste appropriately, including separating and changing sharps bins.
- Completing consent forms with customers, answering any questions and making appropriate recommendations
- Actioning Due Diligence checklists
- Ensure consistency with company procedures and communicating this to customers in a friendly, clear manner
Studio Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, tidy studio at all times, including a deep clean once a week
- Ensure sufficient relevant stock availability
- Complete count of disposable piercing tools and send to Merchandising to ensure sufficient stock of all tools
Product
- Ensure best practice when organising jewellery stock, considering last sterilisation date, type, metal and colour
- Ensure faulty jewellery is processed according to store guidelines
- Keep up to date with products knowledge relating to all Astrid & Miyu products

Requirements
- A minimum of 1.5 years piercing in a studio environment
- Excellent people skills
- A resourceful attitude, but able to ask for support when needed
- Excellent communication skills
- A sense of self-motivation and an innate drive to be the best version of yourself
