Job description
We have a vacancy for a Picture Framer / Gallery Assistant to work within our local gallery based in Grimsby.
The job will entail framing customers artworks, memorabilia and the assembly of picture frames, cutting mounts & assisting customers with their requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for the ideal candidate.
The ideal candidate we are looking for will have excellent customer service skills, computer & numeracy skills. and must be able to work on their own initiative and to a high standard.
The candidate must be of smart appearance, a confident communicator who is able to offer the quality of service our customers expect.
The duties will include the assembly of picture frames, Design work, Mount cutting, Shop Display & Interaction with retail customers
Experience in social media skill required
Photography skills & design work would be an advantage
Some training will be given on above areas
Must be smart in appearance and able to work weekends & overtime as required.
