Job description
KPJ Group are looking for a Picker/Packer to join a friendly team of workers at their Hyde facility. This is a company that is backed by over half a century of industry experience, specializing in the distribution of motoring and camping accessories.
What’s on offer?
- £11.42 per hour
- Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:45pm / Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:45pm
- Overtime available (where required – paid at enhanced rate)
What will you be doing as a Picker/Packer?
- Packing and collating items in a specific order
- Unpacking, organising, and packing goods in an organised and timely fashion
- Taping boxes, rolling posters, and labelling boxes
- Cleaning, clearing, and assembling packaging lines following correct procedures
- Ensuring product quality which includes checking samples and carrying out visual quality checks
- Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
What do you need?
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a busy warehouse environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
- The ability to stand for extended periods and carry out repetitive tasks
- The ability to use initiative and be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management as you will be working at speed
