Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual(s) to form our packing team at our bakery site in Leeds (LS13). This fast-paced role requires you to be able to work well both independently and collaboratively alongside other members of staff, whilst maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and speed. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about our brand and experienced within order picking and packing, who have experience in organising and fulfilling high volumes of packages whilst subject to time constraints. The role of a packer within our team will not only consist of you packaging orders at speed and building flat-pack boxes for our products, but will also require you to manage and edit Microsoft Excel spreadsheets; importing customer and shipment information into our online delivery platform, and organising and printing labels for shipping.
The role of a Packer for Get Baked is a unique role that has the potential to include a variety of daily tasks, keeping the job exciting and very different from other packing roles that you may have previously experienced.
This position is available both as a full-time position (30 hours a week) and a part-time position (15-20 hours a week). Availability to work an 8-12 hour shift on both Mondays and Thursdays is essential, as these are our core packing days. Examples of shift times you may work on these days are: 7am-5pm, 7am-7pm, 8am-4pm, 8am-6pm. These shift times and lengths may vary and are dependant on the volume of orders you are required to pack on those days.
Additional hours are required outside of Mondays and Thursdays in order for you to assemble flat-pack boxes in advance of your packing shifts. These shifts could consist of working 3 hours on a Friday or a Sunday and 3 hours on a Wednesday. There is room for flexible working around the core packing days (which are Monday and Thursday), providing all flat-pack boxes are built in advance of these days.
Please note that in some weeks, such as when a packing day falls on a bank holiday, it may be that you are required to instead work the 8-12 hour shift on a Tuesday instead of the Monday.
