Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Picker and Packer for our busy client based in Halstead on a temporary to permanent basis.Our client is looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to join their busy warehouse based in Halstead. The successful candidates will be responsible for picking customer orders using a handheld scanner and replenishing the stock within the warehouse.Roles & Responsibilities:Picking customer ordersMeeting order picking targetsUse of a handheld scanning systemManual handlingReplenishing stock within the warehouseWorking as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environmentStacking palletsRemoving waste packaging and ensuring it is disposed of in the correct mannerExperience, Education & Qualifications:Ideally will have some previous warehouse experienceLiterate and numerate, understanding pick sheetsIdeally will have used digital scannersFamiliar with manual handling practisesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift heavy objectsWorking hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5.30pm.In return our client is offering £10.42 per hour.Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a variety of industries and sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, and Property/Estate Agency as well as many more.
