Your role and responsibilities
In our support functions, the Legal Department is key to provide a proactive and professional support to the business. As a Legal PA you will report into the Legal Director within the remit of UK and the Republic of Ireland. You will be a self-starter, ready to multi-task, initiate and expedite information and support within the role. You will be comfortable with diary management, invoicing, relationship management and communication with all liaising parties and possess experience of a demanding fast paced admin-based environment.
This role is intended to embrace a team-working approach, collaborating with internal and external lawyers and other members of business (Linnaeus and across Mars) to fulfil the needs of the business. It is expected that a Legal PA will work with every member of the internal and external teams to ensure that overall needs are met.
This is a part-time role working 3 days a week.

This role is within a very small team, reporting directly in to and supporting the Legal Director therefore the role will be multi-faceted and it is important that all tasks get prioritized and worked through in conjunction with delivery and sometimes conflicting business needs. Therefore, if you have a minimum of 2 years in a role within a legal support environment, you are the ideal candidate.
The office is modern, and open plan with a hub of different support departments in place for a collection of busy National Veterinary Health practices. Our ethos is centred around expertise, and delivery quality patient care in our practices, with our Veterinary Health professionals. Our mission is to create a better place for Pets and a better world for People too.
