We are currently recruiting picker and packer based in Swindon, SN3 4QS to start wc 8th Jan 2023 !!!
We are looking for dedicated and conscientious colleagues to work full time roles. Colleagues will play a crucial role in organising and packing products to be delivered to stores, organising, and managing stock and ensuring the whole process runs smoothly - from products arriving at the centre to delivering them to store for customers to browse through.
As a picker and packer you will work the below shift patterns:
- Continental Shift: week 1 - Mon - Fri 06:00 - 14:00 & week 2 - Sun - Thurs 14:00 - 22:00
- Fixed Nights - Sunday - Thursday 22:00-06:00
Rates of Pay for our picker and packer position:
- Continental Shift: £11.36 standard pay / overtime pay rate after 40hrs worked £14.20
- Fixed Night Shift: £13.63 standard pay / overtime pay rate after 40hrs worked £17.04
As a picker and packer you will be:
- Picking & organising products using Trolley's
- Lifting items of up to 25kg
- Scanning all items, taking them off the pallets and allocating each item accordingly within the warehouse for put away
- Relocate items using Pump Truck and low level order pickers (LLOP)
- Managing Goods in and goods out
- Allocating stock and unloading / loading lorries
You must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time and move products that may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting
