Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks
JOB SUMMARY: To plan, organise and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director and Managing Director. You will attend regular performance management meetings and follow Miags Code of Conduct Policy.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Ø To differentiate and scaffold learning by reviewing material with students individually or in groups.
Ø provide additional learning support to students where identified.
Ø develop learning programs for individual needs and adapt appropriate materials accordingly.
Ø To model appropriate responses and inspire students to focus on career pathways.
Ø deliver customised learning activities to students either individually or in groups.
Ø monitor and support the social and emotional needs of students.
Ø assist with the development of all educational tasks to meet individual student needs in line with their EHCP targets and outcomes.
Ø help colleagues prepare for learning by getting materials ready, setting up equipment and arranging the environment.
Ø assist in directly observing and recording behaviour.
Ø to keep students safeguarding at the foremost of their provision.
Ø help maintain participation in education and positive behaviours.
Ø record all student’s education as required by Miag and promptly respond to requests for feedback.
Ø complete daily administration for students - records including attendance and CPOMS.
Ø assist students correcting work and checking their responses to their learning.
Ø collaborate regularly with colleagues to chart the progress of each child.
Ø keep parents informed about their child's development and any concerns.
Ø assist with supervision of students at Miag locations to cover absence.
· Salary – negotiable, dependent on experience
· Ensure all safeguarding is reported and recorded in line with MIAG policies
· Working hours to include Academic School Terms

Full UK driving license and own transport essential
