Job Overview:Hello! We are Karis and Aayush, and we run a social enterprise dedicated to sustainable gifting. The holiday season is around the corner, and as you can imagine we expect it to be busy!Our social enterprise is looking to recruit enthusiastic packers to help with packing orders over November and December. We are a friendly team and we are looking for someone friendly, reliable, hardworking, flexible, and enthusiastic. This includes being trained on key equipment, restocking shelves, accepting deliveries, and sending gifts out. We are looking for someone who is willing to take on this challenge and be efficient and proactive. This experience will allow you to fully understand the operations side of a start-up. We are looking for people happy to take initiative and be decisive at the moment. This role is for someone who pays attention to detail and does not mind working an entire shift on their feet. We value accuracy and speed so this role would be ideal for someone who can follow instructions precisely and double-check their work before completing a task. Some of the responsibilities include:● Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the work environment● Accepting delivery of inventory● Counting and confirming inventory● Inspecting inventory for damage and faults● Communicating errors to the team● Marking and labelling stock● Recycling● Storing inventory in an accessible manner● Working with pallets● Packing orders● Sorting orders for collectionWe are looking for people who can work 30-45 hours a week with overtime and can be flexible.
