To support the UK Manufacturing Operations Teams, the Quality department is looking to bring in a talented, passionate, and driven Quality Engineer, to investigate and resolve operational quality concerns, control current quality assurance procedures, and implement new procedures as required.
As a Quality Engineer, the candidate will be involved in day-to-day operations of vehicle and component manufacture, working closely with our Assembly, Machine shop and Paint Shop departments.
The Engineer will support the manufacturing areas when quality concerns arise, carrying out root cause analysis of concerns, offering short term solutions to enable continued manufacturing without compromise to quality and long term solutions through escalation to external suppliers or internally within the global Triumph business.
Other key responsibilities will include the creation and implementation of audits for new model motorcycles, including final product audits, assembly torque audits and vehicle packing audits.
Experience within a Manufacturing Engineering role with exposure to a wide range of production processes related to component manufacture will be essential. A thorough technical understanding of motorcycle chassis build and mechanical operation will be an advantage. You will be eager to get involved and add value and looking for a varied and sometimes challenging workload.
