Job description
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Physiotherapy team as a Band 4 Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team made up of Physiotherapists and Nurses.
You must have experience at Band 3 or Band 4 level as a physiotherapy assistant within the NHS or similar environment. A health care qualification would be desirable.
Duties will also include administrative duties and departmental housekeeping. You will have a clinical case load made up of face-to-face and virtual appointments appointments, and group rehabilitation sessions.
You will be working within a friendly team where career development and teaching are actively encouraged. You will be supervised by a Senior Physiotherapist to deliver Physiotherapy treatment plans to patients.
The department offers a supportive working environment which actively supports Continuing Professional Development, through an established appraisal system, in-service training, and post graduate library facilities.
You will be based at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital but spend a proportion of your time delivering group rehabilitation programmes in local community settings.
All of this, and future plans for development make this an exciting time to be part of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, so if you have what it takes to make a difference we want to hear from you!
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.

We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check atEnhanced Level. (Enhanced level now includes regulated checks against vulnerable adults and children)
At MTW, we seek to develop a culture where everyone can reach their full potential with opportunities to grow and develop their career.
