Job description

We are excited to to be advertising for a band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive Crisis Response Team in South Manchester. We are advertising for one permanent, full time position, and are looking for a physiotherapist with exceptional generic assessment and therapeutic skills, whoa re motivated to deliver the highest quality of care through personal ad professional development and collaborative multi disciplinary working.

The Crisis response team forms part of the wider Manchester Community response Team. MCR encompasses Crisis Response, Discharge to Assess, Community IV, ICT and reablement.

The Crisis Response Team support people with a health or social care crisis to stay at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admission. We provide same-day assessment by our integrated, multi-disciplinary team to make safe and stabilise.

Our friendly and supportive team is made up of Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, pharmacists, social workers and senior health care support workers. We can support patients at home for 72 hours. Referrals are received from a range of sources across the community health, social care, primary care and hospital (A&E/CDU/AMU) settings.

The Crisis Response Team currently works from 8am until 10pm 7 days per week.
