Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Assistants to join the MSK Outpatients Therapy Team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
There is one fulltime permanent posts available, for 37.5 hours per week split over five days Monday-Friday.
The successful applicant will work in the MSK Outpatients Therapy Team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Technical Instructors and Therapy Assistants. They will assist in the care and rehabilitation of trauma and elective patients. They will also be required to assist with the delivery of gym rehabilitation sessions and Hydrotherapy, therefore the ability to swim is essential
To develop their skills the successful candidates will receive training and regular teaching, they will also regularly participate in supervision with a qualified therapist.
The post will predominantly be based Northern General Hospital, but there will be an expectation that the post-holder could work at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital on occasions.
