Goods In/Van Driver
Crediton
£10.90 per hour
Temp to Perm Contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week. 1.00pm finish on a Friday
gap personnel Exeter are currently recruiting for an experienced Goods In / Van Driver based in Crediton.
As half of a team of 2 who work across Goods In and driving company vans on local runs to collect parts and materials from sub-contractors and between 2 local sites. Both are important roles the driving and goods in elements rotate on a weekly basis.
Key responsibilities as a Goods in / Van Driver:
- Unloading of vehicles using a forklift
- Management of stored materials to keep them ready for use
- Allocation and distribution of materials to production machines
- Collecting parts and materials
- Rotating weekly between Goods in and Driving.
About you & experiences required:
- Self-motivated to perform well
- Methodical and well organised.
- Focused on meeting deadlines safely and accurately.
- Forklift driver and manual handling (Essential)
- Full UK Driving License (Essential)
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communicator.
- Multi-tasking.
