Ingersoll Rand Transport provides equipment which efficiently transfers bulk material from road tankers and other vehicles. As global requirements advanced, we started developing into wider applications and we now produce equipment for alternative markets including specialised transport, on-board power systems for operating/powering other equipment, and bespoke electric compressor packages for e-mobility vehicles.

Within our Bradford facility we design, machine, assembly and install our entire Bulk Powder and Liquid Compressor range for Road Transport Vehicles. Providing our customers with the whole product life cycle is number one for us and with our mobile service engineers we offer from concept design, manufacture, installation and aftermarket support.
Main purpose of the role
Provides operational support for the department including clerical and administrative responsibilities.
Job Description
- Handles phone and email correspondence.
- Develops and distributes various correspondence, reports and presentations, maintains departmental files.
- Support and work with Purchasing Teams for shortages and forecasting.
- Handles customer enquiries including pricing, delivery and quotations.
- Generate and submit customer orders.
- Updates Shortages log sheets, maintains vendors or distributor files, manage outstanding order book and ensure timely communication to customers when there are delays.
- Handles Import and Export requirements with all associated documentation
- All functions associated with Sales Order Entry/Maintenance and Despatch
- Perform all other reasonable duties as required
