Job description
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join the team at Ventrica!
The Role:
Within this role, you will negotiate and manage all the contracts for a complex client specific account and any other clients . You will be involved with critical work in a legal setting, meaning you will need to work efficiently and be responsible. You will understand the requirements of any contract or agreement that the employee is entering and provide advice surrounding the terms and conditions when required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating standard and tailored contracts for company use
- Managing any amendments to clients contracts
- Meeting clients to discuss any changes
- Being informed of the requirements, duties and obligations of our client to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and industry regulations
- Ensuring compliance with guidelines and monitoring changes to government regulations
- Making changes according to updated guidelines
- Maintaining and updating contractual records
- Researching legal cases
- Preparing legal documentation
- Handling confidential case or client information
Skills required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- In depth research skills
- Strong organization skills
- Good judgement and discretion
- Understanding of legal agreements and financial analytics
- Able to negotiate or persuade
- Attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills
- Great knowledge of the client and companies polices and procedures
Education and Training:
Essential:
- Experience within a legal setting for a minimum of 3 years
- Experience dealing with contact negotiations
- Previously worked with government regulations and guidelines
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Management, Contract Law
- Diploma in Legal Studies, Legal Secretaries, Law and Practice
