Job description
We're looking to recruit a versatile visual content creator to produce a range of film, photographic and animated content on behalf of our expanding portfolio of clients across the hospitality, education and healthcare industries.
You will join a small team of creative social media managers to enhance our ability to create bespoke video content, motion graphics and photography on behalf of clients across the UK.
You will have substantial experience of working within an internal production capacity, agency or as a freelancer producing a wide range of video content from short-form mobile advertising creative to long form documentary and short films. As part of your application, you will be required to provide an updated portfolio with at least 5 different productions showcasing a variety of skills.
You will need to be comfortable shooting on a range of cameras including DSLRs and higher spec camcorders. You will also work closely with our Social Media Managers to develop content and plan creative from concept through to filming and post-production. As the lead content creator you will be required to work solo and alongside our Digital Design Executive to ensure brand consistency and tone across all creatives.
All equipment will be supplied with access to Canon cameras and lenses, Ronin-M gimbal, mics, Apple Mac with Final Cut Pro editing software with After Effects and the full Adobe Creative Suite.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the largest international hotel brands and some of the UK's largest hotel management companies. You will also gain experience working alongside leading national food and beverage companies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, create and edit original and creative content in a range of multimedia formats (e.g. audio, video, graphics and photographs)
- Liaise with Clients and Senior Account Manager regarding tone, style and visual guidelines
- Ensure consistency with client brand guidelines
- Film and edit content for clients across the UK for a variety of audiences - e.g. short promos, adverts, staff profiles, venue tours, food etc..
- Arrange and manage film and photo-shoots on locations across the UK
- Script development and filming project management
- Create motion graphics to share across our client's social media channels regularly
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Senior Account Manager to develop consistent creative content for all media placements
- Provide creative photography for use across digital and print
- Responsible for data management, rushes, images and content files
- Undertake duties as requested by the company director that are appropriate to the role
- You will be required to be flexible and adapt as priorities and responsibilities may change from time to time as the company continues to grow
The Person (essential)
- Proven experience in creating visual digital content (especially video filming and editing capabilities)
- A Love of travel and visiting new places
- Excellent proofreading skills in the context of creating on-screen graphics and subtitles for videos
- Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite for visual productions (Photoshop/Premiere Pro/After Effects)
- Extensive experience filming live-action video content on location
- Ability to translate research and corporate content into engaging content and communications for digital channels
- Significant experience in producing content for a variety of audiences including business to business and corporate communications
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and ensure content meets branding requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to marketing, publicity and promotion
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with clients (ranging in seniority from customer service, to management or owner) and to work well within and across teams
- Excellent project management skills, including time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
- The timing of some filming will require the flexibility to work outside of the standard office hours of 9:30-5:30 and at weekends as necessary
Full UK driving licence
Experience producing video content for use in hospitality & social media preferred (Desirable)
