We have an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity within our Marketing team here at Yeovil College. The Multimedia Apprentice will work to deliver high-quality videography, photography and editing as part of the marketing and communications strategy working with Yeovil College and Yeovil College University Centre. Providing an outstanding service to learners, staff and other stakeholders, actively engaging in developing and promoting the departments operational plan, achieving the College strategic aims and development plans while promoting equality, diversity and fundamental British Values in all aspects of the role.
The role will involve video Creating, management and editing; supporting the development and production of targeted content for a range of channels including website, email, prospectus’, YouTube, paid social, display campaigns and third party sites, to promote Yeovil College. Working with internal college colleagues and curriculum areas to organise, film and edit video content to a set of corporate styling guidelines. Creating a wide range of products for Yeovil College, from short video promotion to formal corporate videos, working with the Graphic Designer to generate new ideas, establish exciting visual styles and create impactful content. Develop digital assets, including video and animation, to advertise Yeovil College. Working with the Head of Marketing & Communications to track the progress of the ‘Big Build’ project through videography and engage with third parties when required and working with the marketing team to set-up and pack-down events.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualified to Level 3 Multimedia standard, preferably in videography.
- GCSE/Functional Skills in English and Maths (or commitment to working towards these qualifications).
- Evidence and a portfolio of work in videography, graphic design or photography.
- A strong interest in design and photography.
- High level of IT skills.
- Experience using MS Office, email and Internet.
- General graphic design and multi-media skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Creative flair and artistic abilities.
- Willing to undertake further training, as required.
Full time 37 hours a week, all year round. 18 month Apprenticeship. - Flexible approach to working hours is required – some events will involve very occasional evening and weekend work, planned well in advance and time will be returned as ‘time off in lieu’
Salary £10,187
