Bonhams is a global auction house with an 18th century heritage poised for transformative change. Our global operations are based in London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong where we sell in over 60 categories, including motor cars, paintings, jewellery, and entertainment memorabilia.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Photography of Painting, Works of Art, Watches, Jewellery and collectables for auction catalogues and marketing material.
- Ensuring that items are photographed in a consistently professional manner to a high standard
- Producing consistent, colour correct images to style guidelines.
- Able to demonstrate a standard of work and attention to detail to maintain the quality of catalogue and advertising photography.
- In-depth knowledge of Hasselblad equipment including Phocus, Capture one, Adobe Photoshop software.
- Ability to adapt to changing production schedule and organize photography time to ensure deadlines are meet without supervision.
- Ability to schedule and organize location shoots as required.
- Able to work well within a team working under pressure with a flexible attitude.
- Good knowledge of colour management. File management, uploading images.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Maintaining quality control throughout production
- Work well on your own as well as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Hasselblad, Canon cameras and software.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop
- Good knowledge of Apple Mac and OSX operating system
- Good organisational and communication skills. Basic Word, Excel and Illustrator Good internet and email skills
