· Exprence in Phlebotomy - desirable
· Healthcare qualification, such as BTEC or NVQ.
· Being able to use your initiative, be proactive, quick learner, use discretion and a team player is essential.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be expected to:
· You will be required to prepare patients and rooms for consultations and exams.
· You will be required perform and record exams, according to medical instructions.
· You will need to guide and assist patients and putting them at ease.
· You will be required check patients’ vital signs and the general conditions of patients pre, during and post any treatment they may receive, following medical guidelines.
· You will be required obtain and/or assist patient in the any materials or samples for any laboratory exams, according to guidance and the clinic processes.
· It is mandatory that you comply with infection prevention and control measures
· To assist with admissions periodically and discharge of exams as when requested.
· To control of the material used on a daily basis and at the end of each shift to carry out a joint stock check with the receptionist, taking responsibility for any unaccounted shortages.
· To comply with medical care prescriptions.
· To assist emergency first aid care if needed under guidance.
· You will be required to assist doctors in carrying out audits whenever requested.
· It will be your responsibility to perform cleaning, disinfection, sterilization of material and equipment, as well as its preparation, storage and distribution.
· You will be required to perform procedures prescribed by the Doctor.
· You will be required to perform tasks relevant to the area of operation, ie nurses room using equipment and computer programs.

Salary: £11.50-£13.30 per hour
