A vacancy has arisen for a part-time, 20 hour phlebotomist within the Ayrshire Community Blood Service. The post holder will be required to work over 5 days per week, which is currently on a Monday-Friday basis. The post is based within the East Health and Social Care Partnership. This is an area wide service across Ayrshire and Arran with the potential to require to assist within the North and South Health and Social Care Partnership depending on the needs of the service.
Working within a variety of clinic settings and patient’s homes you will have the appropriate skills to undertake phlebotomy in the community. SVQ level 2/3 required.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and inter-personal skills, have the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be required to undertake lone working within the community. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training. You must hold a current UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
