The Pharmacist Network are a clinical led organisation here to support GPs with the delivery of pharmacist and pharmacy tech services across the UK.

We are currently seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to work onsite within the General Practices across the Edmonton area, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and gain new knowledge in a clinical setting.
Experience is desirable but not essential for this role as training will be provided on-site and remotely, you will also be supported by a national network of pharmacists and technicians who are undertaking the same journey remotely and working on-site.
The Role
In recognition of the important role pharmacy technicians can play in general practice we are seeking a professional pharmacy technician who can support the GP practice with general day to day workstreams, which may include the below:
- Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record
- Prescribing in line with the practice protocols
- Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients i.e. care homes
- Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols.
- Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts.
- Supporting with Medication Reviews
The Skills
To join our team, ideally 6 months minimum experience of working in a general practice is preferred working as a registered pharmacy technician, however not essential.
You must have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered technician, you will be a highly focused and motivated individual ready to work within a profession team representing our company.
You must live local to the Edmonton area and be willing to travel to the practice which is allocated to you.
