Job description

The Pharmacy Technician will: Resolve daily prescription queries with the Prescription Support Assistants, Prescriptions Administrators and other practice Staff, within their area of competency and where appropriate forward queries to the Practice Pharmacist/Duty GP. Support the team with repeat prescription processes, ensuring they are safe and timely. Ensure that the practice is up to date, informed, and complaint with medicine safety alerts and action any changes independently as required. Support with the management and implementation of shared care protocols and liaise with a Clinical Pharmacist for more complex patients.
