We are delighted to announce that we have a fantastic opportunity for a Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our brand new pharmacy at Albion A6, Daedalus park, Daedalus drive, Lee-on-the-solent, Hampshire PO13 9FX.

Key Duties- Usual responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
- Assisting with the preparation of Monitored Dosage Systems (dosette boxes).
- Acting as an accredited final checker for dispensed items and ensuring daily dispatch performance targets are achieved.
- Highlighting medicine interactions, dose changes and other issues pertaining to prescriptions to the pharmacist.
- Checking with GP surgeries or in-patient records if concerned about the appropriateness of requests for medication.
- Ensuring all prescriptions received are dispensed and performance targets are met.
- Preparing paperwork for the care home, timely preparing care home medicine and ensuring timely delivery.
- Dispensing controlled drugs and making necessary entries in the CD register in accordance with standard operating procedures and complying with relevant legal controls.
Required skills:
- Candidate must have strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills
- Must be keen towards self-development and must be able to pass Disclosure & Barring Service check when required
Qualification Requirements:
- GPHC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
