We have a fantastic opportunity for two part time pharmacy assistants to join our Team. You will be working at the heart of the local community, serving patients and helping them with their medicines. You'll spend most of your time on our medicines counter giving advice to patients and handling prescriptions.
The role will be a job share so you will alternate your shifts each week. One week you will work three days and the following week you will work two and a half days including a Saturday. The role is designed to be flexible and so shifts can be swapped between you if required - e.g if you wish to take annual leave.
Ideally you would have 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including English, Maths and Science
We’re interested in hard working people, who can work flexibly as part of a team to deliver great customer service. The role requires a mix of skills such as attention to detail for when you are making up the prescriptions, computer literacy and good customer service. We are a busy pharmacy so you must be willing to work in a fast paced environment.
The role is very varied, with a lot to learn- We will provide training to get you up to speed and get the best out of the role, with further training opportunities in the future if you wish to advance further.
