Role
We are looking for Pharmacists to work across Digital Pharmacy Services which will be remote working. Services will include, the New Medicine Service, Pharmacy Contraception Service, Discharge medicines service and any new services we introduce. You will ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care by ensuring clinical accuracy and patient safety. This role will see you reporting directly to our Senior pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in providing pharmacy services by means of an assessment process prior to engagement
- Deliver an excellent patient experience through providing pharmacy services
- Comply with all SOPs, and legal, ethical, and professional standards for the pharmacy services
- Ensure all Internal and External training is completed withing the time frame specified
- Liaise with the Services Team, the Core Team and the Superintendent Pharmacist’s team at Pharmacy2U
Manage any patient concerns and promptly raise any issues with the Pharmacy2U teams
Skills
- Previous experience of providing pharmacy services, including the New Medicine Service and Discharge Medicines Service.
- Training and accreditation is up to date and compliant with GPhC and NHS England standards
- Familiar with all legal, ethical and professional requirements for the role
- Experience in driving continuous improvement
- Safeguarding training
- The ability to multitask and prioritise activities
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined working practices
- Highly responsible, with a high degree of integrity
- Meet our performance and quality standards
- Professional indemnity insurance in place to cover all areas of practice (cost reimbursed).
- Experience of working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines
- Experience of working within company and ethical rules and regulations
- Experience of working in a highly accurate environment
- Degree in Pharmacy
- GPhC registered
- NMS trained and accredited, and experienced
