About the programme
Forward-looking and grounded in game-changing science and technology, our PT&D Graduate Programme is made for those eager to feed their curiosity, ready to take the initiative, and keen to make an impact.
Here, you’ll be responsible for supporting the design and development of innovative products and manufacturing processes that impact patient’s lives, every day. From concept through to delivery, you’ll bring your technical expertise and innovative thinking to help drive change. Working as a team and leveraging ground-breaking science and technology to meet patients’ needs and achieve collective success.
Starting in September 2023, the two-year programme consists of three individual eight- month placements. As well as being part of our exciting digital transformation, each placement will provide you with fantastic insights in to pharmaceutical development and the opportunity to expand your knowledge in medicine design & development, commercialisation and supply to patients.
The programme’s variety and flexibility provides you with unique exposure within chemistry, pharmacy and engineering among other scientific areas. As well as helping you broaden your pharmaceutical development knowledge, we'll help you develop ‘soft’ skills required to fulfill your career potential.

Essential requirements
Graduates in chemistry related subjects, pharmacy / pharmaceutical sciences, chemical/mechanical/device engineering, physics or related subjects who have completed their first degree or Masters in 2021/22, or are due to graduate by September 2023 with a 2:1 or higher or equivalent grading.
