Nova Laboratories are a Leicester based pharmaceutical manufacturer with a worldwide reputation for capability in novel, complex aseptic processing of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device products, at scales to support pre-clinical testing through to large Phase III trials.
As a result of continued high demand, new positions are available within our Sterile Manufacturing department. Successful candidates will work in a team, within a clean room environment and be involved in the preparation of equipment and components for the sterile manufacture of pharmaceutical and medical devices for both clinical trial and commercial sale.
Who are we looking for?
This position is suitable for a wide range of candidates with varying levels of experience within the pharmaceutical industry as well as people looking to have their experience in industry. In order to be successful, the following competencies are required:
- The ability to follow written or verbal instructions accurately;
- The ability to complete documentation precisely;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- The ability to work within a team;
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
A knowledge of GMP is desirable, though not essential.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are 8:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 – 15:30 on Friday.
The positions are available full-time, however we actively encourage applicants who are seeking part-time employment to apply. A degree of flexibility is required of all Nova staff in order to accommodate the production schedule, and overtime is paid for any hours above that which is contracted.

COVID-19 considerations:
The clean room has filtered air flow, all operators wear gloves, safety glasses and face coverings as part of their standard work wear. Regular hand washing is required for entry to clean room.
