Pearson Anderson Manchester is hiring for a Kitchen Assistant position within a residential care home.
Position Summary:
The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting the executive chef with daily tasks in the kitchen. This position works as a team member to perform daily routine dishes, stocking inventory, and performing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently with miimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and customers
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
As this role is working within a residential care home an enhanced DBS would be required. If you don't currently hold a DBS on the update service, we can apply for one on your behalf at a cost of £55.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 12-48 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
