Job description
The postholder will help provide a comprehensive administrative service to support the delivery of the Postgraduate Medical Education across the organisation. They will work closely with the PGME administrative and management teams to provide effective quality management and governance processes. This involves data collection analysis and management. The role also includes PA duties for the management team, support for the SCO PGME risk and financial management systems and assisting with the administration and coordination of Induction for Junior Doctors.
This is an interesting and dynamic service therefore the post holder is expected to be flexible and enthusiastic in order to support the evolving nature of education and training.
Please note that this post provides flexible working and the option of working from home.
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the PGME Managerial, Clinical team along with other key stakeholders, to ensure that the local provision of education and training for all doctors in training meets the required standards required by the GMC and Health Education England.
- Support the delivery, organisation and quality assurance of training programmes.
- Perform as part of a well-integrated Postgraduate Medical Education team; Providing cross-cover and support for unplanned activity as directed by the Postgraduate Medical Education Deputy Service Manager.
- Support the administrative processes associated with the quality management and governance framework
- Support the PGME data management systems.
