Job description
Doggy Styling is a high end and unique grooming salon and dog boutique, a home from home for our four-legged friends. This is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee dog grooming to join our team and learn on the job. The goal is to progress to a stylist position.
THE ROLE
- Preparing dogs to specification, ready to be groomed by the stylist, tasks include: bathing, drying, nail clipping and rough trimming
- Learning and following direction from a senior stylist
- Assist in ensuring excellent salon presentation is maintained and high standards are kept through cleanliness, safety and good standards of housekeeping
ABOUT YOU
- Have experience working and handling dogs in a professional grooming environment - Highly Beneficial
- Have experience working in a fast paced environment
- Have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with doggy parents
- Dog grooming qualification would be highly beneficial
- Must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and have a real passion for dogs
