Job description
We are currently seeking an individual with a unique blend of skills for a multi role as Personal Assistant to our CEO and Studio Director, providing care assistance to our CEO, as well as providing assistance to the team as required. This position calls for someone who is adept at multi-tasking, is deeply compassionate, and demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills.
Required for an immediate Start.
This will be a temporary position, lasting until Christmas 2023. ( there is a potential for further work after this point. )
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as a conduit between the CEO and the business operations, ensuring he stays informed and connected with ongoing activities.
Providing care assistance to our CEO who recently experienced a stroke. This includes offering physical help like passing items, assisting with mobility, and fetching drinks.
Functioning as a Personal Assistant to the MD, liaising with department heads, managing communication, and delivering feedback.
Performing various administrative tasks and acting as a “runner” as necessary for the smooth operation of our studios. This will involve facilitating internal and external communications, supporting logistical operations, assisting various departments, as well as heling with packing orders and helping with production when the need arises.
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant similar role.
- Proven experience as a Care Aide ( personal or professional )
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with grace and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring disposition.
- Good computer and internet skills
- full UK drivers’ licence
- be fully vaccinated against Covid19
- non-smoker.
Desirable
- Knowledge or experience of the design / manufacture / Creative industry.
- Practical and not shy to work with tools.
- Sales experience
- copy-writing
We anticipate the weekly hours to be around 20 to 30 per week. This will be flexible, as will the days. The job will evolve over time, and the working days likely to change. In the short term – this position is likely to include work on weekends.
The job location will be split between 3 locations: the main studio ( Near Gabalfa ) , Llandough, and the CEO's residence to the north of Cardiff.
