Job description
Primary School Teaching Assistant - £76 per day, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, Ongoing Contract.
Join Our Team as a SEND Primary School Teaching Assistant!
Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team in Worthing. With an ongoing contract, this exciting opportunity offers £76 per day, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
At our school, we take pride in providing high-quality education and care to our students, especially those with complex needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our mission, supporting our students and helping them reach their full potential.
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with a genuine love for working with children. Patience, compassion, and effective communication skills are key attributes that will enable you to connect with children of all ages and backgrounds. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with a can-do attitude, will make you the ideal candidate.
While formal qualifications are not necessary, relevant experience in a nursery setting, childcare, or working with individuals with learning disabilities will be highly valued. If you have previous experience volunteering, leading after-school clubs, or engaging with holiday clubs, that would be a great advantage too.
Your workday will start at 8:30 am and end at 3:30 pm, giving you ample time for work-life balance. The role operates on weekdays, providing you with weekends to relax and recharge. Plus, with the school's convenient location, easily accessible by public transport, commuting will be a breeze.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of these amazing children. Your dedication, passion, and excellent communication skills will be put to good use in creating a nurturing environment for their growth and development.
Important Notice: Please note that you must be eligible to work in the UK or hold a relevant work visa to be considered for this position. As part of our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, we require you to complete reference checks and provide an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
