We have a great opportunity for a Data Analyst to join us on a 12- month, fixed-term contract. This a full-time role, which can be done remotely.

What YOU will do here at LifeScan:

Working in our Customer Quality department, you'll drive forward data quality and draw insights through analysing large data sets, using statistical methods, quality tools and reports.

You'll take part in exploratory research projects, as well as other Lifescan projects of varying sizes and duration, and use your analytical skills to present results back in a clear and concise way.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing large data sets
  • Working with statistical analysis and providing data analysis
  • Providing informatics and analytical support
  • Participating in exploratory research projects
  • Presenting analysis results within research teams
  • Using statistical methods, quality tools, and reports
  • Actively contributing to small to medium size project or components of a larger project
  • Applying compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, providing documentation as necessary, and participating in compliance activities as required

Requirements:

About YOU:

In order to be successful in this role, you'll be a problem-solver with a strong background in data and statistical analysis, particularly large data sets. You'll ideally have a degree in a Data, Scientific, or Engineering discipline, but a strong combination of education and experience is also fine too!

Together with:

  • Strong research skills
  • Good technical report writing skills
  • Good communication skills; able to adapt your approach to different audiences
  • An ability to work independently, but also be comfortable contributing to team and project work when required
  • A good awareness of compliance processes and procedures, in particular relating to Quality
  • Proficiency in a computational programming language, preferably Python or SPSS
  • Experience in using Tableau to create dashboards

It would be nice if you had but not essential:

  • Experience in the automation of data process(es)
  • Project planning and timeline management experience
  • Additional programming languages, e.g. R, Python, MATLAB, SPSS, SQL
  • Salesforce Analytics experience
