This is an exciting role for someone looking to develop their career in TV & Film. It is to assist disabled Director and Cinematographer Chris Lynch in a variety of day to day duties.
You'll get to work on set on a range of exciting shoots for broadcast and work on films with international brands and agencies. You'll learn about the industry, documentary making, live streaming, event filming and much more whilst connecting and networking with key people in the industry.
The ideal person will live within a short commute to Stratford E15.
It involves a range of in person and remote tasks including but not limited to:
Lifting / setting up equipment for shoots
Helping with physical tasks connected to production
Managing CEO's diary and sending emails
Assisting with social media posts
Helping organise travel and transport
Helping input data and collating information
Essential information:
- Punctuality is essential given the nature of the industry you are working in.
- Although the role is flexible in terms of hours and days, there is a requirement that once days are booked, that you are able to commit to these as failure to attend will mean CEO would not be able to attend given there would be a requirement of physical tasks which he would not be able to complete on his own.
- You will be responsible for submitting weekly invoices for your work.
- You are contracted as a self employed consultant.
- Contract is for 12 months with an option to renew.
- There may be a requirement for overnight stays when productions are either in other areas of UK & Ireland or overseas. In these instances, accomodation / travel / per diems will also be provided.
