Our client is a high-quality independent and internationally renowned publishing services company that has been helping the global academic publishing community for nearly 90 years. They collaborate with publishers to get their content to users more efficiently and effectively. They also support authors from submission to publication through their English language editing and publication support services.
Our client is recruiting a Personal Assistant – Global Operations, who will report directly to the CEO. The role is a remote working role located in the UK. The position is part-time with 17.5 working hours with a salary of £28,000 pro-rata.
You will enable the CEO to manage their time efficiently and productively, by providing administrative and executive-level secretarial support.
You will be responsible for making travel arrangements for meetings and conferences, including flight and hotel bookings for the CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT), working within company policy and relevant budgets.
You will be competent at dealing with sensitive issues confidentially, professionally and objectively. The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Managing diaries and organising internal and external meetings and appointments across various time zones, assessing the priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary.
Coordinating appointment schedules, accommodation and flights, for team attendance at conferences and book fairs.
Minuting meetings, providing notes, and circulating agendas and relevant documentation for meetings.
Devising/maintaining office systems, including data management and filing

Organisation and time management skills – the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
Experience with electronic diary management across different time zones.
Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion, tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality
