Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Insurance, Pensions & Investments as the Personal Assistant to the Embark Group Chief Financial Officer. The PA is the first point of contact for the CFO, providing secretarial and administrative support across varied tasks, whilst developing and maintaining strong relationships. This role is dynamic, involving a high level of prioritisation, sophisticated diary and inbox management, as well as collaborating across a wide network. You should be highly motivated, work well under pressure and want to be part of the Embark adventure . We are committed to embracing a hybrid way of working, with some time at home and some in the office.
Key Accountabilities
- Sophisticated diary management of a demanding and fast-paced calendar. Coordinate meetings and events to achieve optimum time efficiency.
- Plan and prioritise a fast-paced schedule, produce comprehensive information including agendas and briefing notes.
- Effective management of the Executive’s inbox, reviewing incoming emails and flagging urgent items as appropriate.
- Work closely with the EA to manage the executive office, aligning to the priorities of the Executive at all times.
- Proactive management of all correspondence via email, telephone, and post, deciding on priorities/actions.
- Arrange travel requirements, adhering to the travel policy and budget.
- Carry out a wide range of activities including expenses, invoices, electronic and paper filing, taking care of IT issues.
- Ensure day to day management, including record keeping, is kept to a high standard and is in line with the Executive Handbook, Group Policies, and standards.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks, calling out where appropriate.
- Using own initiative and judgement from knowledge of key issues as to what action needs to be taken and when more complex issues require escalation.

- Extraordinarily organised with a keen eye for detail and capability of working to tight timescales.
- Resilient and confident to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the business.
