Exhibit and perform Medical Assistant skills, enhancing the doctor/patient relationship within the PFC healthcare offices. Assume an organizational and leadership position, encouraging an optimum environment of communication, performance, and customer service, among fellow employees. A responsible credentialed Medical Assistant, capable of performing and expanding the role of assisting/nursing in the clinic setting
RESPONSIBILITES AND AUTHORITIES:
A. Perform all duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
B. Conduct oneself in such a manner that is conducive with a professional office environment
C. Dress in such a manner that is conducive with a professional office environment
D. Maintain neat and well-ordered work environment
E. Assist in the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
F. Accommodates the various changes in workload by maintaining a flexible personal schedule
G. Performs other duties as assigned
H. This will be a hybrid position that includes working within the allergy practice as well as providing support for the ENT providers and front desk
I. Maintaining BLS is required
J. On the job training will be provided for emergency procedures for the allergy practice.

K. triage and assessment of patients
L. Administering allergy shots
M. Measuring skin reactions
N. Mixing of allergy serum
O. Responsible for monitoring inventory levels. Ensure that the inventory is ordered and received as required by policy
P. Responsible for educating patients on all allergy injections and treatment processes and protocols
Q. preparation of patients for examination and testing
R. pertinent professional documentation of patient communications and circumstances
S. administration of medications, treatments, or testing as directed by physician
T. usage of communications skills—verbal, written, telephone, and/or computer
U. informing and/or advising patients of results, doctor’s advice or required treatment/appointment
V. responding to patients needs for education, doctor referrals, refill of medications
W. relationship with fellow workers and superiors
X. continual assessment of the office environment relating to patients and co-workers
Y. organization, cleanliness, privacy, security and safety
Z. management of medical supplies, instruments, and equipment- including proper storage, cleaning and monitoring requirements for operation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Texas credentialing certificate in Medical Office Assisting preferred but not required.
Job Knowledge:
- Possess the practical and technical knowledge required for his/her job
Training and Experience
- One to two years office experience preferred but not required.

We offer a sign on bonus – up to $6,000 depending on years of commitment.
