Hourly Rate: £11.80
Hours: 10 hours per week
I am a young boy who is looking for a Personal Assistant to support me at the weekends to give my parents a bit of respite.
I communicate through pictures, I do have limited communication I also use hand gesture to communicate as well as hand pulling.
I enjoy going outside, going to the park, doing SEN sessions and Flip out. I enjoy being in the car.
I do need to be supervised closely as I will run into the road with oncoming cars, I will try and eat things I shouldn’t. I don’t like being in busy crowds.
Summary of Duties:
- To work within line with the Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) 2014
- To work in a personal centred way to best support the individual who is cared for.
- To provide safety and support to the individual being cared for.
- To support to access social activities and the community.

- 6 weeks rota of AL per year

Please note that you will be working directly for the Employer or the Employer who is supporting the Citizen to manage the Direct Payment. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role, if you have a transferable DBS check please make this known on your application form.
Training will be tailored to the citizen’s needs. Please note the Employer will arrange this for you if the job is offered and accepted.
