Encore Personnerl is looking for a warehouse Team Leadres to start work in warehouse based in Hams Hall - Birmingham

Role Purpose
To assign work schedules, ensuring team members are fully trained in warehouse processes and to monitor their progress against set productivity targets, whilst managing individual performance. Act as first point of contact in the department/area and provide support to the Operations Supervisor/Manager.

Summary of Role

• Monitor Activities with the department to ensure productivity targets are met
• Monitor activities within the department to ensure functions are carried out in accordance with policies and procedures as defined by the Management team and Company policy ensuring maximum efficiency is maintained at all times.
• To ensure client SLA's are met
• To be audit ready at all times.
• To provide support to the manager in key areas of process, business development and special projects and provide cover for the manager in his absence.
• Actively contribute to functions within the department as workloads dictate
• Such other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required

Key Responsibilities

• Manual handling training and techniques are followed
• Direct the work of team members

• To adhere to all Security, Health & Safety and housekeeping policies and processes.

• Ensure Training Records for your team maintained for your team
• Ensure Housekeeping standards are reviewed and maintained.
• Monitor performance of team members
• Work as part of a team
• To actively contribute and support the 6s initiative to ensure the working environment is clean, tidy and safe
• Maintain pick accuracy within KPI targets
• Operating IT systems - as required
• Report any breaches of Health & Safety regulations and incidents/accidents
• Communicate work practices, procedures and methods to team members, as required
• Escalate any performance/safety issues to line manager
• To have a good understanding of various warehouse management systems
• To be flexible in attitude and approach with the ability to work within any of the Operational functions and departments
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• To perform all the duties of a warehouse operative

Shifts :
Day shift - fixed 8;30am to 5pm or rota TBC
Nightshift Sunday to Thursday 9;30pm to 6am

Rates:
Days £12.25 per hour
Nights £14.69 per hour

Previous experience and good transport options to the site are required .
