Job Title: Regional Operations Manager

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday + standby rota

Job Overview
We are pleased to share that due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for a new Regional Operations Manager to join our Wastewater Treatment team!
With a team of 7 direct reports and approximately 65 indirect reports, our Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving the Operational Performance of 108 wastewater sites, comprising of both sludge and effluent streams, across the Arun Valley area of West Sussex.
Our Regional Operations Manager is accountable for the overall delivery of both planned and reactive works safely, to time and cost whilst ensuring that, with a focus on risk management, the organisation meets our regulatory and stakeholder obligations.

About You
This role will draw upon your previous experience within the water and/or wider utilities industry and will allow you to demonstrate your ability to positively engage a large team with your excellent leadership and management skills.
This position will also give you the opportunity to demonstrate your resilient nature, your ability to make effective decisions under pressure and balance a busy schedule with multiple priorities.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have good knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and lean manufacturing principles, as well as degree educated within a STEM discipline. However, if you have other skills that you think would lend themselves well to this role that we haven’t already mentioned, we’d love to hear from you!
Due to the field-based nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to hold a full, clean driving license.
Package
This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, and will be based across our various sites across West Sussex. We offer a hybrid approach to working, so you will have the opportunity to do some of your desk-based duties from home.
We are offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as a £400 monthly car allowance. Other benefits include:
