Are you ready to take on a new challenge and be a part of an exciting restaurant opening? We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our White Rabbit Projects team at our new opening in Kensington. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to the success of a brand-new restaurant and make a significant impact from the very beginning.

WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the food and beverage team, managing financials, recruitment, and team development, stock management and health and safety. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing restaurant teams and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations;
  • Implementing and maintaining operating systems and processes beneficial to the restaurants;
  • Inspiring, motivating and training staff to deliver exceptional experiences; and
  • Managing the restaurants financials, GP, and general P&L.

WHAT DO I NEED?

We are looking for someone who embodies our values first and foremost and to ensure we find the right person for the role we will seek people who have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Ops Manager or Assistant Restaurant General Manager overseeing premium restaurants.
  • Ability to manage and achieve budgetary goals by analysing data, providing forecasts and looking at revenue.
  • Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team.
  • Track record of executing consistency at high volume.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your career within an award-winning restaurant group.
