What you’ll do


To provide proactive, professional and confidential support to the UK Strategy and Wholesale Director; anticipating their needs and operating with a high degree of autonomy, pragmatism and flexibility to ensure you anticipate in advance their requirements and plan accordingly.


Required to build strong and positive relationships, bringing a positive attitude to a high energy, dynamic high pressure, and high profile role. Acts as professional point of contact to internal and external visitors.



Required to have first class planning and organisation skills and to develop strong working relationships specifically with the senior leadership team and with appropriate key contacts across Vodafone internally as well as externally. Key accountabilities include:

  • Diary & Calendar Management of challenging and full diaries with competing demands requiring effective and timely prioritisation. All meeting booking, scheduling, prioritising, forward planning and managing travel impacts as required. Email management including inbox control. Ensure the UK Director is fully prepared for all meetings – including preparation of all pre read materials, follow up on actions, tasks scheduling and agenda preparation.
  • Communication support – as and when required draft / prepare materials as briefed – PowerPoint, spreadsheets, letters, emails etc. as required. Prepare meeting agendas; follow up communications, distribution of minutes / actions as required.
  • Relationship Management – liaison with internal and external people, handling of communications – written and verbal. Build and develop relationships with stakeholders and administrators across the Vodafone Group. Development of strong working relationships specifically including immediate Teams, GMT PA team, and wider teams across Vodafone UK & Group as required
  • Task Management - deal promptly, proactively and professionally with all actions, tasks, correspondence, e-mails and telephone calls. Use Vodafone systems as needed including workflow notifications. EVO and travel approvals. General administration including electronic filing and organisational support. Travel management including flights/hotels/transfers for business trips including creation of full Agenda/Travel itineraries.

Who you are


  • Experience of working at a Senior Leadership Team/board level is essential.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of Management and remain confidential at all times.
  • Strong networking skills
  • High proficiency with IT applications including Microsoft Office packages specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied and busy workload.
  • Extremely organised, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and approachable
  • First class time management skills
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to deliver under pressure
