Highways Lighting Operative (Installation Operative)
Salary £27,292

We are looking to recruit an installation operative to play an integral role within our Highway Lighting area of our business.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday,
Employer pension contribution is c.18%
21 Days Holiday (rising to 25 after 5 years) + 8 Bank Holidays
Core hours between 8 am and 6 pm
Scope for overtime
This is the right opportunity for you if you can:
· Carry out and assist with, groundworks, excavation, maintenance, installation and repairs to signage, street lighting including infrastructure and street furniture for and on behalf of the local authority.
· Cooperate with the Company in the maintenance and upgrade of all systems associated with outdoor lighting installations, highway power supplies, equipment, and street furniture to the complete satisfaction and enjoyment of the end user.
· Carry out all works that are safe and without danger and damage to persons and property in the reasonable use of electrical systems associated with outdoor lighting installations, highway power supplies, equipment, and street furniture.
The main requirement is for you to have: A full UK Driving License
Desirable but not essential is:
IPAF 1b, Experience working on external lighting and signage, excavation and groundworks, traffic management, signing and guarding and use of HIAB and or truck mount mobile crane systems.
